Ravelry is a place for knitters, crocheters, designers, spinners, and dyers to keep track of their yarn, tools and pattern information, and look to others for ideas and inspiration. The content is all user-driven; the community makes the site what it is.
Currently, Ravelry is not completely up to speed. You can apply for an account, and as they add bandwidth, you will be able to sign up and post.

The Craft Yarn Council of America (CYCA) is the yarn industry's trade association. CYCA sponsors the Certified Instructors Program, a knit and crochet teacher-training program and supports Warm Up America and Caps for Kids, community-based charity projects.
